The short version

The short version: be yourself, be respectful, keep it safe. Enso exists to turn online connections into good real-world moments. Anything that makes that less safe — fake identities, harassment, sexual content, dangerous events — doesn’t belong here, and breaking these rules has real consequences for your account.

Be Real

  • Use your real identity — your real name, your real age, photos that are actually you.
  • One account per person. No impersonating anyone, no accounts on someone else’s behalf.
  • Don’t post misleading event details or fake locations. People show up in the real world based on what you write.

Be Respectful

  • No harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation — in messages, on profiles, or at events.
  • No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
  • No unwanted romantic or sexual advances. If someone isn’t interested, that’s the end of it.
  • Respect people’s privacy: no sharing someone’s location, identity, messages, or photos without their consent.

Keep It Clean

  • No nudity or sexually explicit content anywhere on Enso — profiles, posts, stories, messages, or events.
  • No content that sexualizes anyone without their consent.
  • No graphic violence or content designed to shock or disgust.

Adults Only, Always

  • Enso is strictly 18+. No minors at Enso events, in content, or on the platform.
  • Any sexual content involving minors is reported to law enforcement. No exceptions, no warnings.

No Dangerous or Illegal Activity

  • No events or content promoting illegal activity, including drug sales.
  • No weapons at Enso events.
  • If your event involves alcohol, it must comply with Ontario liquor laws (drinking age 19, licensed venues or lawful private settings). Hosts are responsible for this.
  • No scams, spam, pyramid schemes, or using Enso to advertise without permission.

At Events

  • Hosts: describe your event honestly, look out for your attendees, and step in (or call for help) if something goes wrong.
  • Attendees: follow the host’s and venue’s reasonable rules, drink responsibly, and look out for each other.
  • Consent matters everywhere: at an event, "no" means no — for photos, for contact, for anything.

Report What You See

  • If you experience or witness behaviour that breaks these rules, report it — from a profile, post, message, or event, using the report option (⋯), or via Settings → Support.
  • Reporting is confidential. Retaliating against someone for reporting is itself a violation.
  • In an emergency, always call 911 first.

Consequences

  • Violations are recorded on your account and can limit features, suspend your account, or permanently ban you and your device.
  • Serious violations (violence, minors, sexual misconduct) mean immediate removal and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
  • We review reports with a mix of human moderators and automated tools, and we may act on violations whether or not someone reported them.
